Generate a New Root Password

We never send root passwords by email for security reasons. Create your own password by following these steps.

Change the root password in the control panel

1. Log in to the VPS Control Panel at https://control.mynymbox.net:4083. Use the same username and password as in the Client Portal.
2. Select your VPS server and click the gear icon.
3. On the next screen choose Settings.
4. In Settings, locate Change Password and enter the new root password.

After saving, reboot the VPS if prompted and use the freshly generated password for SSH access.
