Add your SSH key to your VPS

Using SSH keys to log in to your VPS is strongly recommended for security. Follow the steps below to register and attach your key through the control panel.

Add your SSH key through the VPS Control Panel

1. Log in to the VPS Control Panel at https://control.mynymbox.net:4083 with your username and password.
2. Select SSH Keys and add one or more public keys.
3. Open the VPS server you wish to configure.
4. Click Settings, choose the SSH key you want to use for this VPS, and select Use SSH Key.
5. Confirm the message “The SSH key(s) have been added successfully. The changes will take effect on next reboot.”
6. Reboot your VPS.
7. Your SSH key is now active, and password-free login is enabled.

How to generate an SSH key

Run the following command on your local machine:

ssh-keygen -t ed25519

Copy the entire output and paste it into the control panel’s SSH key form or directly into your server’s ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file (located in the user’s home directory).
