DNS Only Management Tool
Our DNS-only management account is free with every domain registration. Use it to manage one or more domains and subdomains—note that this tool handles DNS records only.
Common DNS record types
Section titled “Common DNS record types”- A record: Points a domain name to an IP address.
- CNAME: Redirects one hostname to another (often the host with the A record).
- MX record: Routes email by specifying the mail server responsible for your domain.
How to use the DNS Management account
Section titled “How to use the DNS Management account”- Log in to the Client Portal, click on “My Services” and choose the service “DNS Management Tool”. Scroll a little bit down till you find the login button for the DNS Management Tool.
- In the tool choose your domain or subdomain from the left drop-down menu.
- In the left menu, select DNS Settings, then open DNS Records.
- Review existing records on the right. To add a new record, choose the desired type from the drop-down and click Create Record of Type.
- Enter the record details and click Create.
- Done—your DNS change is saved.
